    Description

UTrap Replaces Your P-trap On Kitchen or Bathroom Sink Once Installed You Will Never Need Drain Opening Chemicals Again. Once installed the built in filter will filter the water going down your kitchen sink keeping all debris from clogging your drain system. If you drop anything down the drain you want back like a diamond from your ring or the entire ring, simply open the collection cap and get your item back.
To install, put a bucket under your p-trap, untighten the two nuts holding your p-trap in place leaving the nuts in place. Place the UTrap extension tube on the curved part of the UTrap. Tighten all parts of the UTrap by hand, (do not use tools). Install the UTrap on the pipes where you removed the p-trap and tighten the nuts onto the UTrap, again by hand, no tools. Run a little water into the UTrap and check for leaks. If you notice a leak tighten the part where you see the leak a little more by hand. If the leak is coming from the cap, take off the cap and check that the rubber seal is in place. If there are no leaks the UTrap is ready to use for the next year or so before you will see the water slowing that is going down the drain.
To clean, put a bucket under the UTrap, remove the debris cap and dump contents into bucket making sure you do not lose the rubber seal. Reinstall the debris cap onto the Utrap and hand tighten. Check for leak and your ready to continue to protect your pipes. If you are a dentist the extension tube can be put on the straight side of the Utrap to allow you to remove any tools that might fall down the drain. If you drop a gold filling down the drain you can get it back also. To use on a bathroom sink you will need an adapter purchased at a home improvement store to change the 1-1/4" pipe to 1-1/2".
