    Description

    Selling off one of the last knifemaking / blademaker tools in my shop.
    This is one of Nathan's (the Machinist) extra long grinding platens made from hardened D2 steel.
    It is about 10 inches long by 2 wide by 3/8.
    It has the radius end for integral or plunge grinding.
    This is what Nathan had to say when I bought it:

    I have used his regular sized flat platen, and his 36" radius platens and just loved them to death.  Never used any other platen for my grinding.  I bought a chiller as he recommended and never used that either.  I just used a home depot water spray bottle on the belt and platen and got used to that.  Worked great.
