Hi. This set includes one of each cartridge.
1 each, 10” x 2.5” Polypropylene Sediment Cartridge. 1 Micron.
1 each, 10” x 2.5” Granular activated carbon (GAC). 5 Micron.
1 each, 10” x 2.5” ASC+ Polyphosphate and Carbon. 5 Micron.
First Stage
The 10” micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter to extract suspended materials such as sediment, rust, insects, and other particles down to 1 Micron. This cartridge also extends life of other, more expensive cartridges and prevents damage
Second Stage
The 10” filter consists of five micron filter pad with Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), and another five micron pad. GAC removes heavy metals from water and significantly extends the life of granular activated carbon by protecting the carbon bed from fouling by bacterial growth. This filter cartridge effectively removes heavy metals such as Lead, Mercury, Iron, and controls microorganisms. The filter removes unpleasant odors, Chlorine, Hydrogen sulfide smell from water.
Third Stage
This 10” Combo filter consists of five micron filter pad with Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), and another five micron pad and Polyphosphate slow dissolving balls. GAC removes heavy metals from water and significantly extends the life of granular activated carbon by protecting the carbon bed from fouling by bacterial growth. This filter cartridge effectively removes heavy metals such as Lead, Mercury, Iron, and more, and controls microorganisms. The filter removes unpleasant odors, Chlorine, Hydrogen, Iron and the sulfide smell from water.
ASC cartridge is FDA grade pure polyphosphate siliphos to improve the quality of drinking water. Helps prevent Scale, Corrosion, Iron and Rust.

The ASC cartridge can be used as a pretreatment for ROs and Whole House Systems.
The maximum benefit is derived when the feed water flowing into a holding tank (boiler, hot water heater) or reservoir, which provides a leveling effect on the phosphate concentration.
