This kit will work with GCB-95 Rev. C-H, GCB-100, JH-1, JC95, and ZW-45, Vox V847, and V847A and really any other wah that needs an output buffer.
If you need help identifying which wah you have, contact us. It should also fit on just about any other wah out there too.
The older version worked pretty well. We re-worked the whole circuit and now it works even better!
It's well known that a lot of fuzz pedals don't play nice with wah pedals. You can try putting them before or after the wah. Nothing really works well. Fuzzes (Fuzz Face based wahs in particular) deteriorate the wah effect due to an impedance mis-match.
Now you can get rid of the problem with the Griffin Effects Wah Buffer Retrofit. It's a small circuit that is fitted inside your wah (it can also be fitted into it's own enclosure). It doesn't require any drilling or cutting any traces so it is completely reversible. Good news for those of you with vintage wahs. The Griffin Effects Wah Buffer Retrofit will allow you to use any fuzz pedal without any impedance problems at all. The buffer also has a trimmer on it to adjust volume of the wah so there aren't anymore volume issues.

In the unlikely event that we have shipped the wrong item, we will refund your entire purchase and shipping in both directions. Please contact us immediately for instructions.
We will process all damage claims with the carrier and may request that you return the item. Please retain original shipping containers and notify us immediately if you suspect damage in shipment.
Damage can occur due to careless handling of sensitive electronics; and for that reason, we can not accept the return of items where the factory seal is broken or the item has been installed.
