    Description

The FT Synthetics Copperhead Joist & Beam Tape is flexible waterproof self-adhered tape that is made to lengthen the lifespan of wooden deck structures by stopping decay and wood rot. Joist & beam tape acts as a moisture barrier cap straight on top of the joists and beams and is made to stop wood rot and decay that is caused by moisture runoff from the deck boards that remains in contact with the wooden deck framing. Advanced butyl rubber adhesion is mixed with an UV resistant polyethylene facer to function together as a watertight barrier that seals around fasteners. This barrier lets the joists breathe and keeps wood from rotting prematurely to ensure a long-lasting foundation that will endure the same amount of time as the deck. The FT Synthetics deck joist tape is compatible with most deck materials including composite products and pressure treated wood.
